Kenya Lelsa FBOP Estate Tea

The Kenyan Lelsa Tea estate has been producing tea for over 60 years and is situated in the Kericho district east of the rift valley. The Lelsa estate is at an altitude of over 5500 feet and has a very rich, fertile soil profile producing some of Kenya's best quality teas.

Lelsa is especially famous for its white teas. This Black tea production is a Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe of very good quality with a floral character. The liquor is coppery coloured in cup with notes of  jam, a very pleasant smooth tea. Brew with boiling water and infuse for 3 to 5 minutes.
